How can teachers support diverse learners? Teachers and other specialists are often searching to find creative ways to reach learners at all levels. By incorporating technology that is already available in the classroom, educators can empower students to independently access supports whenever they may need them. When use of these tools becomes part of the ‘norm’, it becomes easier for all learners, including those with disabilities, to utilize these tools and take control of their learning. We will discuss some recommended practices for leveraging these tools to help address learner variability and promote expert learners.This session will highlight accessibility features that are built-in to Chrome OS, iOS, and Windows devices to support reading tasks, writing tasks, computer access and more. Short video examples will highlight a variety of potential options across platforms!
