The session will begin with the evolution of social media and how platforms utilize human psychology and digital data to formulate our next move. Attendees will identify how emotional intelligence, sleep habits, addiction, and self-worth are shaped by technology. Followed by synthetic media, confirmation bias, and misinformation’s role in creating barriers to truth & reality. While deep fakes will impact us emotionally raising more questions around our certainty of events. A key component to becoming digitally sensible is to overcome online obstacles by recognizing emotional exploitation as it happens on digital platforms. Developing digital fitness is the goal of the session by creating a positive digital culture and improving a person’s digital wisdom framework necessary for safe digital spaces.
