Learner Choice in Pace and Space

Empowering learners to take control of the pace of their learning means more than simply loading every lesson into an LMS and giving students independent work time. In this session, we explore ways in which educators can maintain learner autonomy without losing things like instructional time, conversations, collaboration, and more. In support of these practices, this session will also take a closer look at how the layout of the learning space can enhance student learning (and minimize off-task behaviors).
